HOUSEKEEPER (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule)

ROLE

Northwood Church is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. This role is essential to maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our worship space, offices, and community areas. This position offers high flexibility, making it ideal for those seeking to balance work with other commitments.
  • Pay Range: $15 per hour
  • Work Schedule: Part Time, 10–15 hours per week
  • Flexible Scheduling: Shifts can be completed during weekdays or early evenings, provided the facility is ready for Sunday services and scheduled midweek events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Auditorium & Common Areas: Dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping hard floors in the sanctuary and lobby.
  • Restroom Sanitation: Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all restrooms and restocking paper products and soap.
  • Trash Removal: Emptying all waste and recycling bins throughout the building.
  • Kitchen & Cafe: Wiping down counters, cleaning sinks, and ensuring these areas are ready for community use.
  • Stock Monitoring: Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the office when items need to be reordered.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in custodial or housekeeping work is preferred but not required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for the duration of the shift.

  • Successful completion of a background check is required.

This position is Part-Time, Hourly, and Non-Exempt.
